IHF资格赛
As previously announced, the IHF will hold for the first time its own Qualification Tournaments in compliance with the qualification system for Olympic Games and as approved by the International Olympic Committee.
According to the qualification system, the IHF will hold three Qualification Tournaments each in the men's and women's category in order to determine the remaining twelve participants (six men's and six women's teams) for the Olympic Handball Tournaments at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
The dates and places for these tournaments have meanwhile been set. The three women's tournaments will take place between 28 and 30 March 2008 in Germany, Romania and France. The men's tournaments will be staged from 30 May to 1 June 2008 in Poland, France and Croatia.
